Tree of Life hosted Horizon Science Academy on Tuesday evening and came back from a 7 point half time deficit to post a 2 point victory. The Trojans came out of the locker room and outscored the visitors by 8 in the third quarter to take a 1 point lead going to the 4th quarter. The last quarter so both teams trade leads several times. Raph Hayes made 1 of 2 free throws to push the lead to 2 points with seconds remaining. Horizon Science had a chance to send the game to overtime but the layup went in and out and the Trojans secured the 2 point victory there 4th of the season.

The Trojans were led by Junior Ian Leach with a season high 25 points on (4) 3 pt field goals and was a perfect 9 for 9 from the line including 7 for 7 in the 4th quarter. Three other Trojans were in double figures with Andrew Konjevich and Shawn Scarberry scoring 11 points and Raph Hayes with 10 points. The Trojans were without their leading scorer Josh Smith who was out due to injury.

The Trojans are back on the court Thursday 7:30 pm at conference rival Shekinah Christian where they will attempt to avenge last years loss in Plain City.
